After Experiment

End of Shift form

After the experiment, it is absolutely essential to complete the End of Shift form. This form can only be completed on site. It must be printed out, signed and handed in to your local contact or the administration team BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!.

Guesthouse

  • Check out time is 10:30. You will be charged for an extra night if you do not return your key on time, unless notification has been given in advance to the Hostel Office and/or EMBL administration.
  • Bills may be paid in cash (Euro), at the DESY Kasse (Building 6), or per money transfer (German Banking System). Payment with Credit Card is also possible. Rent and telephone bills should be collected from the Hostel Office at the latest on the last working day before departure. You will be asked to pay your bills before leaving Hamburg.
  • During office hours, the keys for the Guest Houses may be returned to the Hostel Office (building 6). Outside office hours, at weekends and/or holidays, the keys should be returned at the main gate (Notkestrasse 85).

If you are staying at a hotel nearby, please check the payment conditions at the hotel reception.

Return access card

If you were granted access to the wet lab, please remember to return the access card to the Administration.
