Small Angle X-ray Scattering 2012
Access to the proposal submission system
The deadline for submission of beam time proposals is 31st January 2012.
EMBL Hamburg offers facilities for experiments in structural biology using synchrotron radiation and high-throughput crystallisation. They are available to all research groups, and the access is prioritised on scientific grounds only. Project proposals for beamline access are evaluated by the Project Evaluation Committee.
EMBL Hamburg operates synchrotron beamlines for Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) at DORIS (beamline X33) and PETRA III (beamline P12) rings at DESY. Both SAXS beamlines are coordinated by Dmitri Svergun.
The DORIS ring will restart in March 2012 and will be completely shutdown on 22nd October 2012. The PETRA III ring will restart in late March and will run until 22nd December 2012. P12 is available for data collection and will be continuously upgraded during the year 2012.
