Macromolecular CrystallographyBeamline BW7B
Beamline BW7B is a wiggler macromolecular crystallography beamline on the DORIS BW7 wiggler, located in the HASYLAB Hall 5. It is a monochromatic fixed wavelength beamline operated at a wavelength of 0.84 Å (14.8 keV). The endstation is equipped with a Mar 345-mm IP detector. The beamline is dedicated to the development of the automatic sample changer system MARVIN of EMBL Hamburg.

Experimental possibilities with MARVIN
- Pre-screening of crystals before data collection
- Up to 150 samples corresponding to 15 baskets can be loaded
- SPINE standard pins and revolver SC3 baskets must be used (the baskets may be borrowed from the outstation)
- Barcode reading
- Automatic centering
