High Throughput Crystallisation

Call for access to Synchrotron Beamline Facilities 2011 was announced on 22 December 2010.

Electronic beam proposal forms will open as of January, 15th, 2011.

The deadline for submission of proposals is January, 31st, 2011.

The high-throughput crystallization facility at the EMBL-Hamburg Outstation is open to all users. It offers a wide selection of initial screening conditions and a convenient way to compose customized screens for follow up experiments. Users are given many options in the design of their experiments. They can also choose between set up as vapour diffusion hanging drops and free interface diffusion in Topaz ® chips. Access to results is possible through a password protected website.

In order to register an experiment simply use our electronic booking site. First time users are prompted for administrative and contact information. They will be registered and given an access name and password within 24h (they can still register their experiment immediately). Existing users can immediately proceed to the experiment design. All registrations will be confirmed by e-mail.
