Macromolecular Crystallography 2012

Please click here: smis.embl-hamburg.de to access the proposal submission system.
The deadline for submission of beam time proposals is 31st January 2012.

EMBL Hamburg operates synchrotron beamlines for Macromolecular Crystallography (MX) on DORIS(X11,X12,X13,BW7B; coordinated by Victor Lamzin) and PETRA III (P14; coordinated by Thomas Schneider). Beamlines X11,X12, and X13 are available for data collection. BW7B is dedicated to the development of the MARVIN sample changer and available for sample-screening only. P14 is available for data collection and will be continuously upgraded during the year 2012 towards small focus sizes ( < 10 micron) and full tuneability between 0.4 and 1.7 Å.

The DORIS ring will restart in March 2012 and will be completely shutdown on 22nd October. The PETRA III ring will restart in late March and will run until 22nd December.
