The European School for Macromolecular Crystallography (ESMAX) is a joint EMBL-CCP4 training course.

The course will take place at EMBL Hamburg on the DESY synchrotron site in Hamburg from Monday November 19th - Monday November 26th, 2012.

The course will include beamline practicals, computational tutorials and/or lectures on the following topics:

  • data collection at synchrotron sources

  • data processing: indexing, integration and scaling

  • structure solution: experimental phasing, molecular replacement

  • model building and completion, validation
