Trends in Crystallisation
EMBL-Hamburg Outstation, February 28 to March 2, 2007
The workshop focuses on the latest developments in the crystallisation of biological macromolecules and their complexes. It is primarily addressed to the SPINE-2 and BioXhit partner laboratory members, but a few places might be available for external candidates. A series of lectures focuses on sample preparation (mutagenesis, lysine methylation, limited proteolysis), microfluidic applications and the data management and statistical lessons from high-throughput crystallization strategies. Several case studies are discussed to provide real-life examples. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own samples as test cases for the practical sessions.
There is no registration fee, but participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation.
Applications are accepted via internet only.
The number of participants will be restricted.
The registration deadline is 5th February, 2007.
