"Intrinsically Unfolded Proteins in Structural Biology"
and
"Complementary Methods in Structural Biology".
Location: Treudelberg Hotel (Lemsahler Landstraße 45)
September 4th and 5th, 2008, Hamburg, Germany
The workshop is supported by the EU-funded project INSTRUCT (Integrated Structural Biology Infrastructure for Europe).
INSTRUCT has been selected and funded by the European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (ESFRI), and consists of several workgroups, each focusing on core technologies in the field of structural biology.
The aim of INSTRUCT is to allow concerted planning and development of leading future research infrastructures across Europe, with the long-term vision of combining integrated structural biology with cell biology to create 3D cellular structural biology. Further information can be found on the following website: www.instruct-fp7.eu/about.jsp
The aim of this tandem workshop is to define research areas that should be covered by the participating workgroups, and to develop goals and strategies for future research in these areas.
The workshop will be organised in three sessions and will be open to interested participants. All conference attendees must register using the relevant links on this site.
Deadline is August 15th, 2008.
There is no workshop fee but places are limited and will be given on a first-come-first-served basis, therefore early registration is recommended.
The venue of the workshop will be the Treudelberg Hotel (www.treudelberg.com), about 15 minutes from Hamburg airport. The hotel has state-of-the-art conference facilities and offers a variety of services for an enjoyable stay. Opportunities will be offered to visit the present and future facilities at DESY campus, Hamburg, Germany.
A contingent of rooms has been reserved at a reduced rate for INSTRUCT attendees. The price for a single room is 150 Euro, a double room 170 Euro per night including breakfast. A booking code for these rooms will be provided on the confirmation email sent to approved participants after the 19th of August.
