Hamburg SAXS Symposium
The European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL Hamburg) is hosting an international symposium focusing on state of the art developments in small-angle scattering applied to structural biology – methods, instruments and science.
The symposium is also an occasion to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the ATSAS software suite that coincides with the birthday of our mentor and colleague Dmitri Svergun.
The Hamburg symposium is geared toward all SAXS and SANS excited scientists including current and former beamline users, collaboration partners and EMBL alumni especially former Svergun group
members, visitors and trainees.
Schedule
The meeting will open on the morning of Thursday and end at lunch time .
A celebration dinner will take place on Thursday evening, to which accompanying persons/companions are cordially invited.
For the scientific sessions, we have invited a number of leading experts in small angle
X-ray scattering to present short scientific seminars (25 min each). On Thursday afternoon there will be a poster session open to all contributions. A tour to EMBL's facilities
at PETRA III will be included in the program.
Further program details will be updated here.
